Hi there! I’m Kristen.


 For as long as I can remember, food has always brought me joy. Some of my most cherished memories involve being in the kitchen with my family, preparing meals together and losing track of time around the dinner table. From a young age, I was fascinated with the flavors, colors and textures of food- and how you could bring them into perfect harmony in one dish. I began waiting tables in 2013, but it didn't take me long to realize I'd rather be in the kitchen. I decided to pursue this as a career when I started culinary school in 2015. While in school, I began working in restaurants; from dishwashing, prepping, line cooking and eventually sous-cheffing in downtown Raleigh.

    In 2020, my desire to bring people together with food led me to launch my own personal chef business. I'm passionate about putting good food on the table, and want to take everything that I’ve learned and am continuously learning in my culinary career with you in your home.

Kristen is insured through the Food Liability Insurance Program (FLIP), is Servsafe qualified in proper food handling and management, and is fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
