Hi! I’m Kristen.
For as long as I can remember, food has brought me joy. Some of my most cherished memories involve being in the kitchen with my family- preparing meals together and losing track of time around the dinner table. From a young age, I was fascinated by the flavors, colors, and textures of food, and how you can bring them into perfect harmony in one dish. I spent a few years working front of house in restaurants, but it didn’t take me long to realize I’d rather be in the kitchen. I decided to pursue this as a career when I started Wake Tech’s culinary arts program in 2015. During this time, I began working in kitchens, from dishwashing and prepping to line cooking and eventually sous-cheffing in downtown Raleigh.
In 2020, my desire to work more directly with food and people led me to launch my own personal chef business. I’m passionate about putting good food on the table and want to bring everything I’ve learned, and am continuously learning throughout my culinary career with you in your home.
Kristen is insured through the Food Liability Insurance Program (FLIP), is Servsafe qualified in proper food handling and management, and is fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
